Foldable Mechanic Mat In EVA Foam

This foldable mechanic mat provides a more comfortable surface when you are working, training, or spending time close to a hard floor. The mat consists of six interconnected panels made of EVA foam, which can be unfolded into a long mat or gathered into a thicker surface. The built-in carry handle makes it easy to take between the garage, workshop, garden, and campsite.

Key Benefits

• Six interconnected panels provide multiple options for placement and use.
• EVA foam creates distance between the body and hard or uneven surfaces.
• Can be used as a lying mat, kneeling pad, sitting pad, and training mat.
• Folds compactly for easier transport and storage.
• Built-in handle makes the mat practical to carry.
• Suitable for garage, workshop, gardening, camping, and home training.

Overview

This foldable mechanic mat is designed for tasks where you sit, kneel, or lie on the floor for extended periods. It can, for example, be fully unfolded when working under a car or placed folded under the knees during tyre changes, cleaning, and other practical tasks. The material is EVA foam, which has a firm, slightly yielding structure and helps create an insulating layer against the ground.

The six panels are connected and can be folded into several positions. This allows for adapting the shape to the current task. The mat can lie flat, be partially folded for support, or be gathered into a compact block that can be used as a higher kneeling or sitting pad. The construction requires no assembly and is ready for use as soon as it is unfolded.

Specifications

Surface for Garage and Workshop

When working around the car, it is often necessary to get close to the ground. Unfolded, the mat has a total length of approximately 114.8 cm and a width of approximately 40 cm. It can therefore be placed next to or under the car as a defined surface for the upper body, knees, or legs. The structured surface provides a stable contact area, while the foam reduces direct contact with concrete, tiles, and other hard floors.

When only support under the knees is needed, the mat can be kept folded. The combined layers create a thicker surface, which is practical for tasks such as wheel changes, brake checks, or working close to the lower parts of the car. The mat is a work surface and should not be used as a support block for a vehicle.

Practical for Gardening, Camping, and Training

The mat can also be used outside the workshop. When gardening, it serves as a kneeling pad when planting, weeding, or performing maintenance close to the ground. While camping, it can be used as a sitting or lying pad, and at home, it can be used for stretching exercises, light floor training, or other activities where distance from the floor is wanted.

The foldable design makes it easy to adjust how much of the mat is unfolded. It can be placed under the entire body, only under the upper body, or as support under a single area. After use, the panels fold together to approximately 40 × 19 × 15 cm, so the mat takes up less space in the car, cupboard, or workshop.

Easy Transport and Storage

The integrated handle is cut into one of the panels and allows the mat to be carried without a separate bag. The compact shape is practical when moving equipment between work sites or storing it alongside tools and other accessories. The surface can be wiped clean of loose dirt after use, so the mat is ready for the next task.
