Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 10 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through everydayfavourites.co.uk.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. They explain who we are, how orders are processed, your rights as a consumer, and the terms that apply to purchases from us.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects or restricts any statutory rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.

If we are registered for VAT in connection with a transaction, the applicable VAT registration information will be provided where required by law.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made by consumers through everydayfavourites.co.uk.

A consumer is an individual acting wholly or mainly for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

Different rules may apply to purchases made primarily for business purposes.

3. Products

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Product images are intended to illustrate the goods. Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, manufacturing variations and the screen or device used to view the product.

Any measurements stated on a product page may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances unless expressly stated otherwise.

Goods supplied to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any particular purpose made known to us where applicable.

4. Prices

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Prices shown to UK consumers include VAT and other mandatory taxes where applicable.

Any delivery charge will be displayed before you place your order.

For standard UK delivery:

  • Orders below £5: £3 delivery
  • Orders of £5 or more: free standard delivery

We may change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.

5. Pricing and Website Errors

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information are correct.

Occasionally, an obvious pricing, description, stock or technical error may occur.

If we discover an obvious error before accepting your order, we may contact you and give you the opportunity to proceed on the correct terms or cancel the order.

If an order cannot reasonably be fulfilled because of an obvious error, we may refuse the order and refund any payment that has been taken.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

6. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods shown in your order.

You are responsible for checking that the information supplied when ordering is accurate, including:

  • Your name
  • Delivery address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number, where requested
  • Products and quantities ordered

You will normally receive an automated order confirmation after placing your order.

The order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. Unless we expressly state otherwise, it does not mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract between you and us is normally formed when we send confirmation that the order has been dispatched.

Before dispatch, we may refuse an order for legitimate reasons, including inability to obtain payment authorisation, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error, legal restrictions, or the product no longer being available.

If we refuse an order after receiving payment, the amount paid will be refunded.

7. Payment

We currently accept:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard

When placing an order, your payment method may be authorised to verify that payment can be made.

Payment will normally be charged when the order is dispatched.

Payments are processed through a secure payment provider.

Payment information is transmitted using encrypted connections and is handled in accordance with applicable payment-security standards, including PCI DSS where applicable.

Your card issuer or bank may require additional authentication, including 3D Secure or authentication through a banking application.

8. Fraud Prevention and Payment Checks

To protect customers and our business against fraud and unauthorised transactions, orders may be subject to automated or manual security checks.

We may contact you where reasonably necessary to verify information relating to an order.

We may refuse an order before acceptance if we have reasonable grounds to believe that the transaction is fraudulent, unauthorised or cannot be validated.

9. Delivery Area

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom where delivery is available through our carriers.

The available delivery options will be displayed during checkout.

Orders may be delivered to the delivery address supplied by you or, where applicable, to a local collection point used by the delivery provider.

10. Processing and Delivery Times

Orders placed Monday to Friday before 4:00 PM UK time will generally be forwarded for processing on the same business day.

Orders placed after 4:00 PM, at weekends or on public holidays will generally be forwarded for processing on the next business day.

Our usual estimated times are:

Order processing: 2–4 business days

Transit after dispatch: 5–7 business days

These times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree a specific delivery date with you.

We will deliver your goods without undue delay and, unless a different period has been agreed with you, no later than 30 days after the contract is entered into.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, carrier disruption, public holidays, customs or transport disruption.

Any such delay does not remove the statutory rights you have in relation to late or non-delivery.

11. Tracking

When tracking is available, we will normally send you a dispatch confirmation containing tracking information.

If you have not received tracking information within 8 business days after placing your order, please contact:

info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

and we will investigate the status of your shipment.

12. Risk During Delivery

Goods remain at our risk until they come into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive them.

An exception may apply if you independently arrange for delivery using a carrier that was not offered by us.

13. Changing Your Delivery Address

If you need to change your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible at:

info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

We will try to make the requested change if the order has not yet been dispatched.

Once a parcel has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to change the delivery address.

14. Cancelling an Order Before Delivery

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

Email: info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

You may use the subject line:

Cancel My Order – [order number]

If the order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to stop the shipment.

If the parcel has already been dispatched, this does not remove your statutory right to cancel.

However, we may no longer be able to stop the parcel from being delivered. In that case, you may need to receive the goods and return them to us in accordance with the cancellation and returns procedure below.

Cancelling an order does not give you a right to keep goods that have already been dispatched or delivered.

15. Your Statutory Right to Cancel

For most goods purchased online, you have the right to cancel your contract without giving a reason.

You may exercise this right from the time the contract is made.

For a normal order containing goods delivered together, the cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.

If several goods forming part of the same order are delivered separately, the cancellation period generally ends 14 days after the day on which the final item is received.

You do not need to give us a reason for cancelling.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.

You can do this by emailing:

info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

You may also use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms & Conditions, although use of the form is not compulsory.

16. Returning Goods After Cancellation

After notifying us that you are cancelling, you must return the goods without undue delay.

Generally, goods must be sent back no later than 14 days after you notify us of the cancellation.

Where you cancel before actually receiving goods that have already been dispatched, please contact us so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.

Returns should be sent to:

JaTakEngros
Østergade 2
8870 Langå
Denmark

Email: info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

For an ordinary change-of-mind cancellation, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise.

If an item cannot reasonably be returned by normal post and a statutory requirement applies to provide an estimate of the return cost, that information will be provided before purchase.

The rules for defective, incorrect or damaged goods are different. See section 21 below.

17. Condition of Returned Goods

You may inspect goods to determine their nature, characteristics and functioning in broadly the same way that you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a physical shop.

You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

Where permitted by law, we may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect such diminished value.

Opening packaging does not automatically remove your right to cancel, except where a statutory cancellation exception applies.

Please return goods with their original packaging, including any boxes, sleeves, tags and accessories supplied with the item, and pack the return securely. Original packaging is not a condition of your statutory right to cancel, but where goods are returned without it, or where the packaging has been damaged beyond what is necessary to inspect the item, we may make a lawful deduction from your refund to reflect the reduction in value.

18. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The statutory right to cancel does not apply in certain circumstances.

Depending on the products we sell, these exceptions may include:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised
  • Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery
  • Sealed audio recordings, video recordings or computer software once unsealed
  • Goods which, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items
  • Other goods or contracts specifically excluded from the statutory cancellation right by applicable law

Where an exception applies to a particular product, we will provide appropriate information before purchase where required.

19. Refunds Following Cancellation

If you validly cancel your contract, we will refund the payments received from you for the cancelled goods.

This includes the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as an enhanced or premium delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery option.

For returned goods, we may withhold the refund until:

  • We receive the goods back; or
  • You provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,

whichever occurs first.

Once that condition has been satisfied, we will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the relevant date required by law.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.

You will not be charged a fee for receiving the statutory refund.

We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value where goods have been handled beyond what was necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

20. Refused or Uncollected Parcels

Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not, by itself, clearly tell us that you wish to exercise your statutory right to cancel.

You should therefore also notify us clearly at:

info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

If a parcel is returned because you exercised your statutory cancellation right, the normal rules relating to return costs apply.

We do not charge arbitrary cancellation, restocking or processing penalties.

However, where you are legally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation, you may be responsible for the reasonable direct return cost.

If a parcel cannot be delivered because you supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, we may require payment of the reasonable additional delivery cost before sending the parcel again.

This section does not apply where failed delivery was caused by us or our carrier in circumstances for which we remain responsible.

21. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods

Your rights regarding faulty goods are separate from your 14-day cancellation right.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must generally be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described
  • In conformity with other applicable contractual requirements

If the goods do not meet these requirements, you may have statutory remedies.

Depending on the circumstances, these may include:

  • The short-term right to reject the goods and receive a refund, generally available within the first 30 days where the statutory conditions are met
  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • A reduction in price
  • A final right to reject the goods and receive a refund where the statutory conditions are met

The precise remedy depends on factors including when the fault becomes apparent and whether repair or replacement is possible and appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits these statutory rights.

If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact:

info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

Please include, where reasonably possible:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Photographs showing the problem
  • Photographs of damaged packaging where relevant

Providing photographs can help us investigate the matter more quickly, but requesting photographs does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.

Where goods need to be returned because they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the contract, we will bear reasonable return costs where required by law.

You should contact us before arranging an unusually expensive method of return.

22. Commercial Warranties

A manufacturer’s or commercial warranty, where supplied with a product, is additional to your statutory consumer rights.

Any exclusion contained in a commercial warranty—for example relating to misuse, accidental damage or normal wear and tear—does not remove statutory rights that you otherwise have under UK consumer law.

23. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges as an additional customer service.

If you would like to exchange an item, contact:

info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

Please include your order number and details of the item you wish to exchange.

For voluntary exchanges relating solely to a change of mind, you may be responsible for reasonable return and re-delivery costs.

Voluntary exchanges are offered at our discretion and require the item to be returned unused and complete in its original packaging.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed.

24. Complaints

If you have a complaint regarding an order or our service, please contact us first so that we can investigate the matter.

Email: info@everydayfavourites.co.uk

Please include your order number where applicable and a description of the issue.

We will try to resolve complaints fairly and within a reasonable period.

If a complaint cannot be resolved through our internal complaints procedure, we will provide information concerning any applicable Alternative Dispute Resolution procedure where we are required to do so by law.

You may also obtain independent information concerning your consumer rights from the Citizens Advice Consumer Service or the corresponding consumer-advice service in your part of the United Kingdom.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising your legal rights or bringing a claim before a court with jurisdiction.

25. Our Liability to Consumers

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Breach of statutory consumer rights
  • Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted

If we breach these Terms & Conditions, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of that breach.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

These Terms & Conditions are intended for consumer purchases. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption, arising from goods purchased wholly or mainly for business purposes.

26. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.

Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

Nothing in this section removes any statutory right you may have to cancel an order, obtain a refund or exercise remedies relating to delayed delivery.

27. Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy available on everydayfavourites.co.uk for further information about how personal information is collected and used.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase will normally be those in force when you place your order.

Changes made after an order has been placed will not retrospectively alter your contract unless:

  • The change is required by law; or
  • You expressly agree to the change.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Any invalid provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable where legally possible.

30. Governing Law and Courts

These Terms & Conditions and contracts made through everydayfavourites.co.uk are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the applicable law of your part of the United Kingdom.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to deprive a consumer of the right to bring proceedings in a court available to them under applicable consumer-jurisdiction rules.
