Digital Caliper in Carbon Fibre Composite – 100 and 150 mm
This digital caliper is a practical measuring tool for checking both internal and external dimensions. It features a clear LCD display that shows the measurement result directly and can switch between millimetres and inches. The caliper is available with a measuring range of 0-100 mm and 0-150 mm, allowing you to choose the size that suits the task. The carbon fibre composite construction makes the tool easy to handle for repeated measurements in the workshop, hobby room, or home.
Key Benefits
- LCD display provides an easily readable digital view of the measurement result.
- Can measure external dimensions, internal dimensions, and depth.
- Switch between millimetres and inches with a separate button.
- Reset function can be used at various positions on the measuring rail.
- Available with a measuring range of 0-100 mm and 0-150 mm.
- Resolution of 0.1 mm and specified measurement accuracy of ±0.2 mm.
Overview
This digital caliper is designed for common measuring tasks where you need to quickly check thickness, width, diameter, or depth. The large measuring jaws are used for external measurements, while the smaller jaws can be used for internal measurements in openings, pipes, and holes, for example. The integrated depth gauge extends from the end of the measuring rail and can be used to check the depth of a recess or container.
The display shows the measurement digitally, so you do not need to read a traditional Vernier scale. With the unit selection button, the display can be switched between millimetres and inches. The reset button allows you to set the display to zero at the desired position, which is convenient for comparative measurements or checking differences between items.

For Various Measuring Tasks
The model with a 100 mm measuring range is compact for smaller components and items, while the model with 150 mm provides extra reach for larger measurements. Both sizes have the same basic functions, so the choice can be made based on the maximum distance you expect to measure.
The caliper can be used in woodworking, model building, 3D printing, hobby projects, repairs, and lighter workshop tasks. It can help check the thickness of a plate, the diameter of a shaft, the width of a component, or the internal size of an opening. In 3D printing, it can be used to compare a finished item with the planned dimensions, while in DIY tasks, it can assist in selecting appropriate parts and dimensions.
The digital display makes the tool useful when multiple measurements need to be checked in succession. Gently close the measuring jaws around the item, and avoid applying too much pressure, as the material is intended for general measurements and not the same load as a metal caliper. The locking screw can be used to hold the jaws’ position when a measurement needs to be read or compared.
Simple Operation and Reset
Operation is done with separate buttons for on/off, reset, and selection between millimetres and inches. Before measuring, the external jaws are gently closed together, after which the display is reset. The caliper is then brought around or into the item to be measured. For depth measurement, the end is placed flat against the edge, while the depth rod is lowered to the bottom.
The digital caliper uses an LR44 or SR44 button cell of 1.5 V. The battery is not included and must be inserted before use. When the tool is not in use, it should be turned off and stored in a dry place to protect the measuring surfaces and display. It is a versatile measuring tool for daily tasks where a simple digital reading and multiple measuring functions are advantageous.
