This retractable colander is designed for use directly over the sink, allowing rinsing and draining to occur in the same workflow. The shape allows it to be placed over the sink, where water can run off through openings in both the bottom and sides. This makes the product useful as a colander with handles for daily tasks in the kitchen.

It can be used as a draining sieve for the kitchen when rinsing vegetables before cooking, or when fruit needs to drip after washing. Weighing only 200 g, it is easy to handle and move as needed. The construction is open and simple, keeping the contents together while the water runs away. The experience may vary from person to person depending on the shape of the sink and how the product is used. It also functions as a sieve for rinsing vegetables when draining is wanted without using extra bowls or trays.
