Pizza Peel With Perforated Aluminium Blade And Long Wooden Handle
This pizza peel with a long wooden handle is designed for handling pizza in a regular oven, pizza oven, and stone oven. The flat aluminium blade makes it easier to slide the pizza into the oven, adjust it during baking, and take it out again when it is done.
The perforated blade helps excess flour and semolina to fall away before the pizza is placed on the baking stone or oven base. The perforations also reduce the weight of the blade, making the pizza peel easier to handle.
The product is available in seven models, referred to as Model A to Model G. Models A, B, and C have a round blade for flipping and precise placement of the pizza. Models D, E, F, and G have a wider, rectangular blade that provides more support under the entire pizza during insertion and removal.

Overview
A perforated pizza peel is a practical tool when moving pizza between the work surface, oven, and serving area. The thin front edge can be slid under the pizza base, while the long handle provides a controlled grip without bringing hands unnecessarily close to the heat.
The aluminium blade combines low weight with a sturdy construction. The perforations make the blade lighter and allow loose flour to fall through the openings when the pizza is moved gently back and forth.
The round models are particularly useful for rotating the pizza during baking. The rectangular models have a larger carrying surface and are suitable for sliding the entire pizza into the oven or lifting it out onto a chopping board or serving platter.

Model A – Round Pizza Peel of 18 cm
Model A has a round, perforated blade with a diameter of approx. 18 cm and a wooden handle of approx. 40 cm. The compact blade size makes this model suitable for smaller pizzas and for turning or adjusting the pizza inside the oven.
The round shape makes it easier to work around the edge of the pizza when it needs to be rotated during baking.
Model B – Round Pizza Peel of 20 cm
Model B has a round, perforated blade with a diameter of approx. 20 cm and a wooden handle of approx. 40 cm. It provides a bit more support under the pizza than Model A, while still maintaining a compact and easily manageable shape.
This model is suitable for flipping, placing, and removing smaller and medium-sized pizzas.
Model C – Round Pizza Peel of 23 cm
Model C has a round, perforated blade with a diameter of approx. 23 cm and a wooden handle of approx. 40 cm. The larger blade surface provides more support under the pizza and is suitable for those who want a round pizza peel with a larger contact area.
It can be used to rotate the pizza during baking and to lift it out when it is done.
Model D and E – Rectangular Pizza Peel of 30 cm
Model D and Model E have a wide, perforated blade of approx. 30 cm and a total length of approx. 70 cm. The larger surface area makes these models practical for lifting the entire pizza from the work surface and sliding it into the oven.
They can also be used to take the finished pizza out and move it to a stable surface. Model D and E have the same dimensions but vary in their visual design.
Model F and G – Rectangular Pizza Peel of 35 cm
Model F and Model G have a wide, perforated blade of approx. 35 cm and a total length of approx. 76 cm. They are suitable for larger pizzas, where extra support is wanted under the entire pizza base.
The long handle provides good distance from the oven’s heat, while the wide blade surface makes it easier to transport larger pizzas between the work surface, oven, and serving area. Model F and G have the same dimensions but vary in their visual design.

Perforated Blade for Less Excess Flour
When an unbaked pizza is moved from the work surface, there may be extra flour or semolina under the dough. The perforations allow some of this excess material to fall through the blade when the peel is moved gently.
This means that less loose flour is brought onto the hot baking stone or oven base. The perforations also reduce the overall weight of the blade compared to a solid metal plate of similar size.
Long Wooden Handle
The wooden handle provides a stable grip and creates distance between the hand and the hot oven opening. The handle is attached to the aluminium blade with screws and has a hole at the end, allowing the pizza peel to be hung up after use.
For large or heavy pizzas, it is recommended to support the peel with both hands to keep the blade as horizontal as possible during transport.
Round Models for Flipping Pizza
Models A, B, and C have round blades, making them suitable for turning the pizza during baking. The rounded shape can be slid under the edge of the pizza, after which the pizza is lifted slightly and rotated.
Flipping can be practical in pizza ovens, where the heat is not evenly distributed throughout the oven space. By rotating the pizza during baking, different sides can be placed closer to the heat source.
Rectangular Models for Insertion and Removal
Models D, E, F, and G have wider, rectangular blades. The larger surface area provides more support under the entire pizza base and makes the models suitable for sliding unbaked pizzas into the oven.
The wide models are also practical when the finished pizza needs to be taken out and moved to a chopping board, serving platter, or plate.
Assembly
The pizza peel comes with a separate handle and blade. The handle is placed in the blade’s mounting bracket and secured with the included screws.
Ensure that all screws are tightened correctly before first use. After prolonged use, the screws can be retightened if there is any movement between the handle and blade.
How to Use the Pizza Peel
- Sprinkle a small amount of flour or semolina on the work surface or pizza peel.
- Place the finished pizza on the blade.
- Move the peel gently back and forth to check that the pizza can slide.
- Slide the peel into the oven and pull it back gently so the pizza stays in place.
- Use a round model to turn or adjust the pizza during baking.
- Slide the blade under the finished pizza and lift it out onto a stable surface.
Cleaning and Storage
Allow the pizza peel to cool after use. The aluminium blade can be wiped with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Stubborn residues can be gently loosened with a soft brush or sponge.
The wooden handle should not be soaked or stored in a damp environment. Dry both the blade and handle thoroughly before hanging up or storing the pizza peel.
Practical Pizza Tool for Oven and Serving
This pizza peel with a perforated blade is suitable for those who want lighter and more controlled handling of pizza before, during, and after baking. The combination of a lightweight aluminium blade, practical perforations, and a long wooden handle makes the models useful for both regular ovens and dedicated pizza ovens.
Choose between Model A to G based on the desired blade shape, size, and total length.
